The new year started off with a great success thanks to our participation at CES 2020 in Las Vegas.
We debuted for the first time as a group with our brands Nice, FIBARO and Abode.
Nice demonstrated how its suite of complementary solutions enables a true smart home. Thanks to our interactive booth, the attendees were able to experience multiple everyday scenarios and discover all Nice Group offerings, ranging from automated blinds, alarms and emergency sensors, automated garage doors, lighting systems, temperature sensors and more, which seamlessly work together to simplify life at home.
FIBARO presented the new gateway Home Center 3 — a system that makes your house smart enabling you to feel comfortable, enjoyable and safe — and its complete range of award-winning integrated Smart Home products like the multifunction smart indoor sensors such as the flood, smoke, carbone monoxide and door/window sensors.
Abode displayed a wide range of easy to install home security sensors and devices including Iota, an all-in-one home security device, the first DIY security system to gain HomeKit compatibility, with a built-in HD camera, motion sensor, and two-way voice. The wireless alarm system integrates the most important Smart Home protocols. At CES, abode launched a new outdoor/indoor camera as well, with computer vision capabilities that can understand when people approach the house and whether they are welcome visitors, strangers, or intruders.
Nice’s Yubii Ecosystem and Abode's smart camera ranked as finalists for CES’s Mark of Excellence Awards. And both were also featured in CES Show Daily, which is the conference’s printed publication highlighting key products at the show with a circulation of 100K. As a result, Nice Group has been able to give the image of a successful and consistent company.
“Smart home automation is expected to continue exponential growth in 2020 and beyond,” said Luca Longhin, President of Nice North America. “With the launch of these new products, Nice North America is now uniquely positioned to offer a full ecosystem of home automation solutions specifically designed for the region, taking users from the gate to the door and throughout the smart home while also providing safety and piece-of-mind through monitored alarm systems. All controlled from the palm of your hand.”
Moreover, attendees had the chance to try an immersive, interactive VR experience that transported them into the Nice-enabled connected home.
