Nice/Nortek Control Hires 20-Year Industry Veteran as EMEA Sales Manager
Phil Hardaway comes to the role with prior experience at Snap One and with Savant Systems
CARLSBAD, Calif., April 13, 2022 – Nice/Nortek Control is pleased to announce today the hire of Phil Hardaway as the newest Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Sales Manager to join the team. Hardaway comes to Nice/Nortek Control from Snap One, where he has spent the last seven years of his career. Prior to then, he worked primarily with Savant Systems Europe at a European AV distributor. Overall, Hardaway has dedicated more than two decades of his life to the smart home, AV and custom installation industry. In his new role at Nice/Nortek Control, he’ll lead and represent international sales in the European Union (EU) while supporting the distribution network throughout the EMEA.
Hardaway comes well-prepared for the position with a multitude of experience in a variety of different roles -- including sales management, export sales, business development, account management, marketing, and technical support. He’s had a keen interest in home technology since he was a child and looked up to his dad, who had a similar career. Twenty years into his own career, now, he has worked with many manufacturers and specialist distributors – and has enjoyed being a part of how home technology has grown and evolved over the years. One of Hardaway’s career highlights thus far has been personally selling British Olympic track star, Iwan Thomas, his very own professionally installed smart home system.
