Nice Expands SlideDriver™ II Offerings with New SmartTouch™ 720 Controller for Enhanced Security

Carlsbad, Calif., December 3, 2024 – Nice, a leader in Home and Building Management solutions and perimeter protection, today announced the launch of the SmartTouch™ 720 controller by HySecurity as a new control board option for the SlideDriver™ II hydraulic gate operator. Now compatible with all models of the SlideDriver II, customers have the flexibility to choose between the SmartTouch 720 or the SmartTouch 725 controller and can seamlessly retrofit their SlideDriver II with their preferred selection.

With no Bluetooth or ethernet capabilities, SmartTouch 720 minimizes the risk of electronic tampering by ensuring complete isolation from external networks. Customers still get full access to SlideDriver II features through an embedded user interface, using programming buttons and a 36-character display.  

The SmartTouch 720 addresses the needs of organizations operating in environments where security risks are highest, such as federal facilities, military bases, and corrections institutions. For these customers, mitigating risks like hacking or electronic tampering is paramount, making the SmartTouch 720 controller an essential option.
