No, once you migrate you will have to use the new app and will no longer be able to see the status, receive notifications or operate devices that have been migrated. Your invited administrators or general users will also lose access to the garage door until you invite them to your migrated device.

Features that are not supported in the new Nice G.O. app are Geofencing, Amazon Alexa, places, and adjusting light brightness with the app. The new app also has different user roles (co-owner & guest).

Yes, you can set up a new device in the Nice G.O. app by selecting the wall station that you are using. Be sure to reset the wall station by holding the pairing button for 10+ seconds. Once you have reset the wall station Just click on “+” in the top right corner of the Device screen.

Clear the obstruction between the safety beams to close the door, if there is no obstruction, ensure the beams are aligned and functioning correctly by ensuring red and green LEDs on the safety beams are solid. If the LEDs are lit correctly, block and unblock the beams for (5+s) with the door in the open position and then attempt to close the door.

App Push notifications are available under user profile.

Press the reset button (quick press) on the wall station and the wall station should reconnect.

If your device has been previously connected by a prior tenant, you will need to reset the wall station by holding the pairing button for 10+ seconds until the LED turns red and then attempt to pair the device again.

Hold the pairing button for 10+ seconds until the LED turns solid red and then attempt to put the device in pairing mode (red flashing) so that pairing can be attempted again.

A Wi-Fi extender is not recommended as signal quality for extenders frequently are intermittent and have challenges reconnecting. Using Wi-Fi extenders are not preferred as they might affect the reliability of the Wi-Fi connection and we have limited ability to troubleshoot issues with 3rd party Wi-Fi extenders. If a Wi-Fi extender is unable to connect, the extender can be power cycled to attempt to re-establish the network.

Vacation Mode is a setting that can be enabled with the wall station or the app (connected devices only). When active, the arrows on the wall station will flash blue. When vacation mode is active, remote transmitters and keypads are prevented from opening the garage door (from the fully closed position). Vacation mode provides additional security by disabling your garage door from being opened when the residents are away and vacation mode is active.
